Courmayeur, Italy
Nine splendid holes at the foot of Italian Mont Blanc Range. Playing alongside the source of the Great Dora Baltea River, the golf is challenging and control is of paramount imortance.
Nature is the primary element of this place characterised by the golf club and mountains that sometimes distract from the game but repay with serenity and delight.
Exclusive, but with no ostentations, the Golf Club Courmayeur et Grandes Jorasses presents itself as
the perfect site for golf.
The course was designed and built in tthe he 1930’s by briton Peter Gannon and, thanks to the farsightedness of the Gilberti family, improved in the 1940’s by Henry Cotton.
